BC LDB Going Online

The BC Liquor Distribution Branch is starting to work on an online option for buying alcohol.

The Ministry of Small Business and Red Tape Reduction stated, “Right now, the LDB is in the initial stages of determining how the online tool can be implemented. When we have a more defined timeline, we will be sure to share that information.”

Private liquor, wine and manufacturer on-site stores already sell their products online and the government run stores are looking for ways to compete with them. Those stores have already been adding refrigerated products and are now open on Sundays and holidays.
