New General Manager at BC’s LCRB

Mary Sue Maloughney is BC’s new Assistant Deputy Minister and General Manager of the Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch.

She has extensive experience working in the public service and has held many senior leadership roles within the Government of BC including Assistant Deputy Minister, Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions and Assistant Deputy Minister, Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations.

She is looking forward to working with this industry and says, “I enjoy the challenge of learning about and administering new programs, and from what I have learned to date the liquor and cannabis industries in BC are vibrant, active, diverse, and dynamic! You are also important economic drivers.”
