Big Reds at Big White

Hand crafted by talented winemakers of the region. Big Reds at Big White is truly a celebration of amazing Okanagan wines. The intimate atmosphere allows you to sample cellar worthy wines, while interacting with the winemakers, in a relaxed and informal setting. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about what makes these wines so uniquely Okanagan.

British Columbia’s geology, and “micro-climates” contribute to the production of Internationally recognized award-winning wines. The varying soil and climate conditions are uniquely suited to a growing wide range of black grape varietals, which include Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Malbec, and Petit Verdot.

Whether you love your big Cabernets, complex Bordeaux style blends or “old world” style Pinot Noirs, participants will have the opportunity to sample new releases from each of the wineries. Okanagan red wines are unique, bold, fruit forward, with lots of cellar worthy aging potential. Notable award winning wineries who have participated in this annual tasting event include: Laughing Stock Vineyards, Poplar Grove Winery, Desert Hills Winery, Cedar Creek Estate Winery and Mission Hill Winery.
