The Diplomático World Tournament (DWT) is an international cocktail competition organized by Diplomático Rum and its distributors. This fantastic event features talented bartenders from around the world and for this 3rd edition over 40 countries will be represented!
Diplomático Rum is looking for the best bartender in the world, one who embodies Diplomático’s values. This means that in addition to your creativity, expertise and skills behind the bar, you will also be evaluated on your charisma, elegance and passion.
The winner of the DWT will be awarded the prestigious title of “Diplomático’s World Best Bartender”, and will receive $10,000 USD in prize money. The second place will receive $5,000 USD and the third one $2,500 USD.
The competition is organized around 3 phases: QUALIFYING ROUNDS, CONTINENTAL SEMIFINALS AND WORLD FINAL.
Selected contestants from the online submissions will be contacted by Diplomático’s local distributors to invite them to participate in their country’s Qualifying Rounds.
The Canadian competition will be held on Monday, November 21 at The Keefer Bar in Vancouver from 5-9pm.
